Treatment Plan
Treatment Plans and Treatment Planning in Minneapolis
Dr. Meysman and her team practice comprehensive dentistry according to the principles of Dr. Michael Cohen, the founder of the renown Seattle Study Club.
A major principle of comprehensive dentistry is the treatment plan. A treatment plan lays out the dental needs and the dental aspirations of a patient, and how these needs and aspirations can be met, prioritized by the patient's health needs and other factors.
One tooth at a time dentistry
Many new patients are surprized by our comprehensive approach to dentistry, especially with respect to developing a treatment plan. Their experience is usually one where they simply do not know the condition of their dental health, because it was never explained to them. In other words, they do not understand what the big picture is with respect to their dental health. Instead, they are accustomed to showing up for their appointment, something being done, and then they are scheduled for another appointment.
In contrast, our patients always know what work is being done in their mouths and why. Our patients understand what a treatment plan is, and they know what their particular treatment plan says.
Your next appointment
When you are one of our patients and you make your next appointment, you know what problems will be address and what method will be used to address it, because you will have discussed it at length with the doctor to make sure it solves the problem and fits within your pocket book.
